پیام وزیر آموزش و پرورش به‌مناسبت روز جهانی سوادآموزی
تهران (پانا) - وزیر آموزش و پرورش به‌مناسبت روز جهانی سوادآموزی پیامی به زبان فارسی و انگلیسی صادر کرد.
به گزارش روابط عمومی وزارت آموزش و پرورش، متن پیام رضامراد صحرایی، وزیر آموزش و پرورش به شرح زیر است:
«به نام خدای متعال
در تقویم آموزشی-فرهنگی جهانی، ۸ سپتامبر برابر با ۱۷ شهریور در تقویم ایران، به عنوان روز جهانی سوادآموزی نامگذاری شده است. جمهوری اسلامی ایران نیز برنامه‌های گسترده‌ای برای مبارزه با بی‌سوادی تدوین کرده است که تأسیس سازمان نهضت سوادآموزی یکی از مهم‌ترین اقدامات مرتبط با آن می‌باشد که به فرمان حضرت امام خمینی (ره) آغاز شد.
حضرت امام خمینی (ره) در اولین سال پس از پیروزی انقلاب تاکید کردند که آموزش یک نیاز اساسی است و حتی از سایر ضروریات مانند بهداشت و درمان و مسکن فراتر و مهم‌تر است. این فرمان و چشم‌انداز ایران را به کشوری تبدیل کرد که در آن فرایند آموزش به یک تلاش جمعی با مشارکت همه مردم تبدیل شده است.
علیرغم وضعیت وخیم سواد ایران در دوران حکومت استبدادی قبلی، با فرمان امام خمینی (ره) در عرض چند سال پیشرفت چشمگیری در زمینه سواد و سوادآموزی حاصل شده است.
۱- افزایش ۵۰ درصدی در نرخ کلی سواد.
۲- کاهش ۱۸ درصدی شکاف جنسیتی با سواد
۳- کاهش ۲۳.۵ درصدی شکاف باسوادی بین جمعیت شهری و روستایی.
حضرت امام خامنه‌ای رهبر معظم انقلاب اسلامی نیز به تبعیت از حضرت امام خمینی (ره) رسالت نهضت سوادآموزی را در درجه اول بر «گسترش سوادآموزی» و در درجه دوم «تعمیق سوادآموزی» عنوان کردند. هدف این تعریف هدفمند ساختن سواد، حصول اطمینان از اینکه آموزش منجر به تغییرات معناداری در زندگی فراگیران می‌شود بوده است که با درک جهان معاصر از سواد همسو می‌باشد.
بر اساس این رویکرد، سازمان نهضت سوادآموزی در برنامه درسی خود تجدید نظر کرده است تا آن را بیشتر با نیازهای زندگی فراگیران مرتبط سازد. برای تحقق این امر دوره‌های تخصصی برای زنان روستایی و عشایری، کشاورزان، سربازان، کارگران، صنعتگران و حتی کلاس‌های ویژه برای زندانیان ایجاد شده است.
امروزه جمهوری اسلامی ایران در زمینه آموزش بزرگسالان، روش‌های آموزشی و توسعه محتوا گام‌های مهمی برداشته است. باید پذیرفت که سازمان نهضت سوادآموزی جمهوری اسلامی ایران می‌تواند به عنوان یک نقطه کانونی ارزشمند برای دیپلماسی آموزشی عمل کند و دانش و تجربه ارزشمند خود را به اشتراک بگذارد.
این روز را به تمامی دست‌اندرکاران نهضت سوادآموزی تبریک و تهنیت عرض نموده و از درگاه خداوند متعال برای ایشان آرزوی موفقیت و سربلندی دارم.»

Message from the Honorable Minister of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of International Literacy Day
In the global educational-cultural calendar, September ۸th, which corresponds to the ۱۷th of Shahrivar in the Iranian calendar, has been designated as World Literacy Day. The Islamic Republic of Iran has also developed extensive programs to combat illiteracy, with the establishment of the Literacy Movement Organization being one of the most significant initiatives initiated by the command of Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace).
In the first year following the revolution's victory, Imam Khomeini emphasized that education is a fundamental need and ranks even higher than other necessities like healthcare and housing. This vision transformed Iran into a country where education became a collective effort involving all its people.
Despite Iran's dire literacy situation during the rule of tyranny, under Imam Khomeini's command, remarkable progress was achieved within a few years:
۵۰% increase in the overall literacy rate.
۱۸% reduction in the literacy gender gap.
۲۳.۵% decrease in the literacy gap between urban and rural populations.
Following Imam Khomeini, Imam Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, outlined the mission of the Literacy Movement as primarily focused on "expanding literacy" and secondarily on "deepening literacy." This definition aimed at making literacy purposeful, ensuring that education leads to meaningful changes in the lives of learners, aligning with the contemporary understanding of literacy.
Based on this approach, the Literacy Movement Organization revised its curriculum to make it more relevant to the learners' life needs. Specialized courses were developed for rural and nomadic women, farmers, soldiers, workers, artisans, and even specific classes for inmates.
Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran has made significant strides in adult education, instructional methods, and content development. The Literacy Movement Organization can serve as a valuable focal point for educational diplomacy and share its experienced knowledge.
On this day, I congratulate all those involved in the Literacy Movement and wish them success and honor from the Almighty God.
